My Story, My Work, My Vision Hey there — I’m Wim, a photographer based in Hamburg, sharing life with my wonderful wife and our two beautifully chaotic kids who make every day a little louder and a lot more alive. Photography, to me, is about connection — capturing real moments, honest emotions, and the quiet in-betweens that often speak the loudest. I’m drawn to stories that feel true, to places with soul, and to people who see beauty in imperfection. Always open to new ideas, unexpected adventures, and meaningful collaborations — if you’ve got something in mind, I’d love to hear it and create something special together. ... My Collaborative Journey Over the years, I’ve collaborated with some of Europe’s most inspiring kitchens and creative spaces — places where craftsmanship, emotion, and storytelling come together. From Restaurant Zeik (One Michelin Star), Restaurant Haerlin (Three Michelin Stars), and Tohru in der Schreiberei (Three Michelin Stars) to Bar Tatar, the Michelin Guide, and Restaurant Casamar, each collaboration has offered its own rhythm and character. Highlights include L'Aliança d'Anglès (One Michelin Star), KINK Bar & Restaurant, HACO, and hæbel (One Michelin Star) — as well as El Paladar by Zuriñe García and the legendary El Celler de Can Roca (Three Michelin Stars, 50 Best). Collaborations continued with XO Seafoodbar, Klinker (Green Michelin Star), and Treudelberg Resort, alongside Brodersen, Frisch Gefischt, and Witwenball Küche & Wein. Further projects with Reichshof Hamburg, Stadt Restaurant, Restaurant Ophelia, and Tony García Espacio Gastronómico expanded my view of hospitality — complemented by creative partnerships with Das Rosso, the Open Mouth Festival, bianc (Two Michelin Stars), and Chef Culinar. ... In Print & Pixels My work has appeared in FOODIEmagazine, The Weekender, and the Michelin Guide, as well as across international platforms like Condé Nast Germany and Condé Nast China. Features and stories have been published in fizzz Magazine, Hamburg Magazin, DK-Verlag, Szene Hamburg, and Living at Home, among others.
